Abora Recordings emerged onto the scene with its first release, on vinyl, of Icone's massive instrumental trancer, Sorrow. This was accompanied by a huge Hemstock & Jennings remix. The track set the tone for what was to come, underground trance with overground credentials. Luis Kala – Panema was the second release to hit the stores. ABRD025: Costa - High Above

With his first release on Abora Recordings, Costa comes in with something perfect to get hands in the air for the summer.



High Above has a great 'summer time' feel and features some crafty percussion and hooky leads to set the mood. We're then treated with a warm and ethereal breakdown garnished by a beautiful piano melody that adds a touch of class to this great original.

SoundLift treats us with an energetic uplifter of a remix. He captures melodic elements of the original in such a creative and exceptional fashion in this high-tempo track. The artist's interpretation of the original is immaculate and accurate but still features the powerful synths and driving basslines that we all know as SoundLift's style.

Afternova - Sunset in Dubai released!

Afternova made a great impact on the trance scene earlier this year with "Serenity". With the Original Mix of "Sunset in Dubai" supported by Armin van Buuren on A State of Trance 455, his second release on Abora is of equivalent magnitude, and brings along some huge remixes once again.



We're treated with unique synth melodies, a warm atmospheric, uplifting breakdown and the powerful energy that will always be present in Afternova's signature style. Afternova has once again worked his magic with some very beautiful string instruments woven into the track.

Amurai fully delivers with an epic banger of a remix. His attention to detail combined with hard work and pure raw talent shine through in this uplifting, euphoric anthem. He has chiselled the trancier parts from Afternova's original and pounded them into a hard club remix that will be sure to raise some hands!

Magnus Mykleby follows the sunset theme closely with a great progressive style interpretation. The result is a track with a deep low bassline, classy percussion work and a breakdown as alluring as the transition from day to night.

Afternova - Sunset in Dubai release date confirmed!

We now have a massive followup to Afternova's smashing first release on Abora Recordings. Sunset in Dubai will officially be released on June 9, 2010. However, there will be an exclusive out on Beatport a few weeks before that. It won't be long folks!

Afternova - Serenity release out now and in stores!

The Andy Blueman remix was a huge hit, voted #1 of Corsten's Countdown in March 2010, and chosen for the Top-15 of A State of Trance for April 2010! DJ support has been incredible on this release and now you can own it for yourself.

Serenity is filled with breathtaking synth work, smooth percussion, and huge atmosphere. Every part of the track is filled with little nuances of character. This artist has clearly spent a lot of effort honing his craft, and the result is beautiful.

Andy Blueman has pulled off two incredible remixes of this track, with an uplifting high-tempo trance remix and a down-tempo classical interpretation. His passion for trance really shows and every instrument evokes raw emotion.

Sulaco pulls no punches as he delivers a solid high-tempo club mix, with a splash of guitar style synth and an uplifting arpeggio pushing this track into the stratosphere.

ABRD022: Third Point - Far Away is finally out in stores!

This track has brought back the classy melodic side of trance, and has already received massive support from many of the top DJs around the world, including Sean Tyas, who featured the Instrumental Mix on his Tytanium Sessions [DI.FM radio - listen to YouTube Clip]

Third Point has made a grand entrance on Abora Recordings with a hypnotic tune of silky smooth beats and uplifting synths. Third Point is an alias of Henning B, a Norwegian artist from Oslo. He has been DJing for over 10 years and has several releases out on various labels. He was first inspired to begin writing his own music after seeing Tiesto and Ferry Corsten live at several events in 2000-2001. His music style covers the range from melodic trance to chillout and movie music.

Whether you like vocal or instrumental trance, there is something in this release to please everyone!

Active Visions drops a strong remix with his classier interpretation, containing a polished smooth breakdown and a tight orchestration of synths and piano. The Night Sky Remix provides a beautiful closing touch to this release with its spacey sounds and big pluck leads. This is one not to be missed!
